Network adapter error using oracle 10G

Getting an error network adapter cannot establish a connection with using Oracle 10G.The listener is not working and gives an error when we try starting it.Kindly help.

As you obviously realize, the error you are getting is due to the fact that the listener is not running. Unfortunately, since I couldn't find any details of the error you are getting when you try starting the listener, in your post, I can't really help you (and I imagine no one else can, either -- hence the lack of responses). Perhaps you would care to post the error message you are getting -- and perhaps also mention how you are trying to start the listener.
