Hi,
My client a leading financial bank, is in the process of implementing a core banking application "SYMBOLS" provided by System Access, Philipines. The UAT of the application encountered almost 800 errors, for which program and data patches were applied.
Ths system is developed using Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports and JAVA tools.
The client is concerned whether the modified source has been properly maintained by the vandor and will not affect future upgrades.
They feel the need to re-compile the Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports again.
What is the standatd practice for mass re-compilation incase of so many errors.
Your urgent reply will be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Nauzer Talati

Please refer the metalink note: 191529.1

You have a batch compile script (for all recent versions of forms and reports) and also for different kinds of operating system.

-Http://metalink.oracle.com (Create a user, if u dont have one. Its free)
-Search for the Note number "191529.1"
