Hi,
I am a new user for oracle. Can anyone tell me how to import a .dmp file to a text file instead to the database. I have a .dmp file and I just wanted to see the sql's that it contains without firing them on the database

Mayuresh,
Did you read the documentation for the Oracle import/export utility?
It has different names in different Oracle database versions.
Since I couldn't find, in your post, any details of what Oracle database version you are using, I can't tell you the exact name.

Anyway, all Oracle documentation is available from here:

http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/index.html

Good Luck,
Avi.
