Toad on Mac OS X is it possible

I am trying to install oracle and toad on mac OS X. has anybody tried toad on OS X or can give me some idea if it works on it and if not what would you recommend?

I don't think you can run Toad on Mac OSX at all but a decent alternative is to run SQL Developer from Oracle. This also has the flexibility to connect to more than just Oracle DBs. Regarding Oracle DB you may want to try RPM5 on Mac and then download the RPM install for Oracle XE
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
