hi Everyone,

I have installed Oracle 10g on my System....But when i run my Sql plus it askes me for UserName,PassWord And HostString....i have tried giving them but i end up getting an TNSError....I am at loss as what to give...As i am relatively new to Oracle i really don't know where the problem lies

My tnsnames.ora file is as shown below

Can anybody help me out with this problem

It seems that you haven't created appropriate listener (tip: use netca). Also check if you had specified ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_BASE and ORACLE_SID system variables (tip: echo %ORACLE_HOME% etc.)
