deleting a record along with the child record

I am facing a problem of integrity constraint while deleting a record from my application.

Is there any way to execute a delete script that will automatically finds all the child records and deletes those records along with the active record ?

Oracle supports the "on delete cascade" clause when you create a foreign key constraint.
