Hi All,

I work in a web application that has modules to add, modify and delete Careers,News and Events. In one of the modules, To delete a Career details, I
tried to delete JobId , which is numeric field in an oracle table. But I want to increase the numeric field to the last value + 1.Is there any function that does this work ? If so,please tell me that function

Best Regards,

Ramesh,
Couldn't you write a SQL query to do this?

You could create a before trigger, which uses a sequence.

I found this page where the trigger, and other solutions are: Autoincrement primary key for Oracle
