Configuring Oracle App Server to read users,roles from custom repository

Hi all,
I have a requirement wherein i have to configure Oracle application server to read users and roles from a custom repository. Can anyone please suggest me as to how to go about in achieving this? Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
