can any ranch give me the complete steps to install Tomcat ...
i've many confusions in installation...

What version of Tomcat?
What Operating System?
Do you want Tomcat to act as both the web server and servlet runner, or do you have a web server already installed?

Refer to the jakarta site for instructions. They *are* there.
