Hi All,
I am trying to use
Tomcat with Apache on Solaris. I have been using Apache on NT for some time with no problems, but the setup on Unix machine seems to be a little more difficult. (At least for me)
Anyway, I am getting a File not Found error when I startup Apache. Specifically, the error is this:
Syntax error on line 1 of /usr/apache/tomcat/jakarta-tomcat-3.2.2/conf/MyConfig.conf:
Cannot load /var/apache/libexec/mod_jserv.so into server: ld.so.1: /usr/apache/bin/httpd: fatal: /var/apache/libexec/mod_jserv.so: open failed: No such file or directory
./apachectl start: httpd could not be started
My mod_jserv.so file is in the /var/apache/libexec directory which is where apache seems to be looking for it. I have double and triple checked this. The top part of my configuration file for Tomcat (in the conf directory) looks like this:
LoadModule jserv_module libexec/mod_jserv.so
ApJServManual on
ApJServDefaultProtocol ajpv12
ApJServSecretKey DISABLED
ApJServMountCopy on
ApJServLogLevel notice
ApJServDefaultPort 8007
AddType text/jsp .jsp
AddHandler jserv-servlet .jsp
Has anyone else ran into this problem? Any ideas?
Many thanks to you!!!
Barry
