Tomcat startup error :
[root@krishna root]# tomcat4 run

Can somebody help me in resolving this issue.

you are trying to start the server on a port that is already in use. Do
netstat --ip -all
and see if the port u are using in the server config file is in use. Then change the port declaration in the config file or stop the service running on that port and restart server.
