Directory Access

I have a small problem in Tomcat. A particular directory in my Tomcat ROOT when accessed give m e resource not found (404) error. however if i rename the directory to some other name it is accesible. can anyone throw some light on this problem . I am working on SCO Unix.

What is the directory named? Is it WEB-INF? If so, this restricted by default because its where your java classes and configurations reside.
