hi i have a problem of installing and running tomcat on a laptop can some one give me a suggesstion

would u please tell me how to give the path tooo.
i tried but in vain.....

You really need to think out your request. You have left out the following important bits of information:
1. Operating System
2. Java Version
3. Tomcat Version
4. Memory available
Running tomcat from a laptop should be the same as running from a desktop - all of the above being equal.
