(firstly excuse me for my english)
As i dont find a more specific thread i post this here:
we have a problem to determine a path to a log file in a log4j.properties..
we dont want to determine an absolute path because we are developing a j2ee application and it must be non-dependent of the computer configuration..
we now use a environment variable that is written by a servlet in our application... this is all right.. but.. we now have a problem.. because we have now.. two contexts with the same application and exists a very hard conflict...
well.. then my question is:
what is the right way to specify a path to a log file in log4j.properties file?
thx in advance
fernando.
