error 404 in tomcat 5

I installed Tomcat 5 couple of days ago, everything went perfect. Today when I tried http://127.0.0.1:8080, I got this error:

The thing is I typed :8080, but after pressing enter "/" was appended to address...I am confused, can somone help?

'/' is appended to the url because that's really what you're asking for.

Is there anything in the logs to indicate an error ?
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
