how ro add CLASSPATH and alias in apache tomcat 5

hi,
i need to configure a servlet and add the CLASSPATH to itand i also need to create the alias for the servlet? anybody know how to do it?

1. Tomcat totally ignores the environment CLASSPATH - read the ClassLoader How To file in the Tomcat docs that are installed with Tomcat.
2. Setting up web.xml to define the servlet and alias - this gets discussed here quite a lot, browse around.
3. Be sure to put your servlet and any related classes in a package.
