I am using the Tomcat 5.0.27. Which of the Oracle-10i files have to be installed in the $TOMCAT/common/lib directory to configure connection pool for the Tomcat?

Depends which driver you are using. Normally all you need is the classes[n].zip file. Have a look at the driver documentation on OTN which tells you what you need in the classpath.

I do not know what is going on.

I am using the Tomcat 5.0.27. I insert the code shown below inside the <host> element (right before the closing </host> tag) in the $TOMCAT/conf/server.xml file. I re-boot my computer, and then, I cannot start the Tomcat. I removed that segment of code; then, Tomcat functions normally. What is wrong?
