Hello,
I'm starting a new web development project and not sure if I should use JSP or J2EE. Is there a difference? I want to use all open/free software. I was thinking about using Sun's J2EE Server and writing J2EE code. Can i use the J2EE server and write JSP code. Is tomcat or jboss better? Which method would be better? I have a couple years of Java experience but no JSP or J2EE experience.

Thanks for your help

Mike, please do not cross-post the same question in multiple forums. It wastes people's time when multiple redundant conversations take place. Please continue any discussion of this topic in the JSP forum.
