Database Connections not to be retruned from Connection Pool

Hello all,

How can i ensure that the Connections(Database connection) returned to me are not from the Connection Pool. I want fresh new connection each time. I am using Tomcat 5.0 server.

Don't use the connection pool. Use forname and create your own connection.

Why wouldn't you want a connection from the pool?
