Hi,

I am going through HF Servlets & JSP and on page 76 the author instructs to place an html page ( the form.html ) in a folder under tomcat/webapps and says that it would show up when accessed via localhost:8080/myFolder/form.html. I didn't think it would and it did not.

This html page shows up only if I put it under webapps/ROOT. Am I missing something ?

thanks,
Soumya.

Hi Soumya,

You have to configure the server.xml file, add a tag like below in it, instead of "examples" give your folder name

<Context path="/examples" docBase="examples" debug="0"
reloadable="true" crossContext="true">

Restart your server and try again.

Regards,
Thamarai
