Hi there,

I just succeded in authenticating a user in a Active Directory via JNDIRealm. I "locked" a directory so that everyone who wants to access someting in there has to authenticate.

My questions now are:

1. Is it possible to access the login information (which the user just typed in) later on? Maybe in the Session Object or sth. like that?

2. When I try to log out nothing happens - see my code:

I tried IE6 and Firefox 1.007.
Normally the user should now get another login popup-because the index.html is in a protected place. But I still can access index.html!?!
Is the session not beeing deleted or why isn't it working?

Thanks for your time,

bye Uli

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
