using tomcat with apache2

hi,
how do i achieve the following scenario?

http://mywebapp.mydomain.com/myservlet (DNS) --> http://localhost (apache 2 server) -> http://localhost:8080/mywebapp/myservlet (tomcat)

what do i need to do with apache2 and tomcat to work with each other?

The normal way to connect Apache and Tomcat is via mod_jk. The Apache specific instructions are very helpful.
