I am currently running tomcat5.5 as my servelet container/webserver and last night I copied two jar files to the common/lib directory and learn about java server faces it worked like I expected. Then for some reason (prolly my fault) i was unable to get to any of my other webapps the only one I could get to is was the jsftest app. So I proceeded to try and figure things out with no luck. I decided I needed to replace tomcat all together, so now I have things working using another tomcat install. The problem is that I am unalbe to delete or remove the old tomcat directory. It keeps telling my that one of the jar's is being used by another program.
I know it's nothing of mine and have no idea how to get rid of this directory? .. any help is greatly appreciated!!!
I can't even fathom what that could possibly be. The other day I had downloaded the jsf jar's (just learning) and plopped them in my common/bin directory but other than that I have made no changes that I can think of that would have any bearing on the jars in that directory.
