Hi, I managed to get my netbeans programs working on the laptop.
Basically I used ipconfig in the command prompt to get my pc's IP
address (say XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX), then used the URL...

http://XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX:8081/index.html on my pc's browser, and I
was amazed that it worked.
Then I tried the same address on the laptop, and I was even more amazed
that it worked.
The thing is... my pc, and the laptop share the same router.
I got a couple of friends of mine (in other countries) to try the same
address, but it did'nt work for them.

So it seems that address only works on this LAN.
The router has a different address, but I don't have a clue how to
access my pc from outside the LAN, any ideas would be great.

But anyway, its good that I can try out my servlets and jsps between
two computers in my house.
