Hi,

Can anyone give advice/insight as to how I can interface and intercept the parsing of a jsp compilation made with Jasper?

If this was my problem I would download the Tomcat source code and start digging.

If you're only interested in viewing the generated servlet source, you can find that under the {tomcat install}/work directory.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
