Problem while Installing Tomcat

Dear friends,Can any one help me in Installing Tomcat.. I've just downloaded the Windows Executable Tomcat from apache site.. Problem regarding Environment variables and when i click startup.bat file its showing the problem araised due to variables setting.

Hi AdityaVarma,
In the environment varaiable set CATALINA_HOME to tomcat installed path and JAVA_HOME to java installed path.

With the windows executable version, you should have start menu items for firing up Tomcat. You can also install it as a service.
With either of those, the needed settings are stored in the registry.

There aren't many rules that you need to worry about here on the Ranch, but one that we take very seriously regards the use of proper names. Please take a look at the JavaRanch Naming Policy and adjust your display name to match it.

In particular, your display name must be a first and a last name separated by a space character, and must not be obviously fictitious.
