forget the tomcat credentials

hai

iam installed tomcat5.0.

during installation,it asked for admin username" " password" ".

i forget right now, what i entered that time.

where this information located, to retrive back.

what can i do now

Look at <TOMCAT_HOME>\conf\tomcat-users.xml.
You can find your info. there, and even reset, create new users etc. Look at the roles as well.

this is i found when i verifyied in tomcat-user.xml

<tomcat-users>
<role rolename="tomcat" />
<role rolename="role1" />
<role rolename="manager" />
<role rolename="admin" />
<user username="tomcat" password="tomcat" roles="tomcat" />
<user username="role1" password="tomcat" roles="role1" />
<user username="both" password="tomcat" roles="tomcat,role1" />
<user username="admin" password="" roles="admin,manager" />
</tomcat-users>

so is it

username and password both are tomcat

if not suggest me which one

Hint: there is only one user in that file that has admin role and it's not tomcat.
