Using the service.bat file to install and run Windows Services works OK with XP, but not with Vista.

The service is installed, but does not run from tomcat5w.exe or from Services.

The same with tomcat6w.exe using v6.0.13.

I have full Windows privileges for the Vista install.

I have read in other posts that this is a problem. Does anyone know if this is a bug that occurs with Vista, or am I the only one with this problem?
