how to configure subdomain tomcat web application?

hello friends.

i do not know if this is the right group to post with this subject, so
pardon me for ignorance

i wish to setup a subdomain (hosting.abc.com) and want to setup tomcat
jsp server 5.0 to accommodate the subdomain. i already have tomcat setup
on my main domain (www.abc.com).

how do i do it. using linux.

also do i have to setup new context etc for the sub domain.
