how to start tomcat

this is the error message i am getting, when i start tomcat
i have set the environment variable and class path.

C:\Documents and Settings\rajeshv\Desktop\IM\apache-tomcat-6.0.14\bin>startup.ba
t
The JAVA_HOME environment variable is not defined correctly
This environment variable is needed to run this program
NB: JAVA_HOME should point to a JDK not a JRE
C:\Documents and Settings\rajeshv\Desktop\IM\apache-tomcat-6.0.14\bin>

hi,

please double check are your classpath for JDK is correct.
