I have
Tomcat 4.1.27 in my local development Windows XP workstation. I recently added a local development Oracle 9i database. The problem is when I start Oracle TNSListener on the local development workstation it prevents the Tomcat Container from starting. I hit the startup.bat and it pops up the DOS window, but it disappears after
info creating MBeanServer command shows up. Basically Tomcat wont start. I checked the local web url Tomcat home and no Tomcat is available. My port for Tomcat I am using is port 8080 and Oracle TNS Listener uses port 1521 so I dont think that is an issue. Please advise because the priority for me is using Tomcat which I have working now but have to shut off TNS Listener.
I was hoping to have both of them available in my local development environment but for now I can only use one of them at a time.
