Hello,

I have configured my tomcat 6 server for https over port 8443.I have put the <user-auth-constraint> as confidential for my login resource. When I set my login form method to get everything works fine but when it is set to post login does not happen even if the password and username are correct.

Please advice.

Rohan.

Do you have an SSL certificate?
Have you configured Tomcat to use it?

yes.Configured connector tag for ssl in server.xml

Https works only for a get request not for post request.
