I'm running Tomcat service on Windows 2003 but i'm having some problems.

Everytime i try to run the tomcat as a service i get this error.

Windows could not start the Apache Tomcat on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 0.

But if i install tomcat manually and run 'startup.bat', it works just fine.
I've run the search on this forum and have seen a few folks with similar issues but no one seems to have posted a (written) solution.

Thanks.
[By the way, i'm using Tomcat 6]
