Having problem in logfile

Hi,
My log4j.properties file is below

log4j.rootCategory=error,info,debug, R
log4j.logger.com.sellermania.BMLocal=debug,error,info, R
log4j.appender.R=org.apache.log4j.RollingFileAppender
log4j.appender.R.File=C\:\\logs\\BMLocal.log
log4j.appender.R.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout
log4j.appender.R.layout.ConversionPattern=%d{dd MMM yyyy HH\:mm\:ss,SSS} [%p] %c\:%m%n 

This is showing the logs in the server console properly , but not writing the logs into BMLocal.log. is anybody know where i did mistake.

Give me the suggestion to correct the problem.
