Welcome to Javaranch angelo.
Your display name doesn't quite fit the famous JavaRanch naming policy. Could you please take a minute to change your display name to show 2 names, preferably your real name. (It's all about maintaining our professional image - don't let the one-eyed moose fool you!).
Thanks and hope you'll be visiting the ranch often,
Pauline

Hi, Angelo.
Go to the $JBOSS_HOME/server/$<your_config>/deploy dir and edit the tomcat41-service.xml file. Scroll down and you'll see an HTTP Connector section. change the 8080 port to the desired one. You can also tweak all other advanced params as needed.
Yes, and change the name to reflect your full one, don't be shy

as you are using the 3.2.1 version, you might need to edit the /jbossweb-tomcat.sar/META-INF/jboss-service.xml file in the deploy dir.
SAR are service archives and are just zips with the extension changed.
so, you unpack, edit, repack. or you could deploy it exploded - just unpack it to a jbossweb-tomcat.sar directory.

Don't mess with me you fool! I'm cooking with gas! Here, read this tiny ad:
