I made a new page for the code barn. Check out http://javaranch.com/CodeBarn/shapes.jsp
Did I leave anything out. Can you compile and run okay?
Bodie! Aren't your running the code barn these days? Can you mash the main code barn page to have a new section above the applets section called "Applications" and hook this puppy into it?
Maybe in the near future I'll make some stuff for servlets and EJB's too. Anybody interested in that sort of thing?

I wanted to use different colors to give an idea of what was happening.

I didn't want to add the code for closing the window. Less code means less confusing.
Do you think it is a good example of polymorphism?

Hi Paul. I like the page. Well... er... yes, I think I am supposed to be adding on to the Code Barn. I have found that I cannot access the FTP site from behind the firewall here, so I have not done anything yet.
I did write a small application to demonstrate using events with Swing. I'd like to have someone critique it before I put it out there. What would be the best way to do this? E-mail? Post in moderators only?
Bodie

Lack of ftp access will make this tough.
Ask in the MO forum to see if someone can be your liason. You can e-mail it to them and they can ftp it. I would help, but right now I don't have ftp access either!
