Thanks to everyone who is out here this week. Whether you are JBoss user already or whether you are just trying to get a few posts in for the giveaway, both Sam and I are glad you are here. Please feel free to ask us anything about the book or about JBoss. If you are just looking for technical support, we're going to point you to the JBoss Forums where you can get technical answers from the JBoss community. You are much more likely to get a good answer there. (and if you need serious help, you should check out JBoss support) That's not to say we won't help out with quick "help me, my app is broken" questions, but they can get rather time consuming.

I'm particularly interested in talking about some of the future directions of JBoss, particularly EJB3. But, I'll let you guys drive the conversations. So, have at it.

Hi Norman

Just wanted to how does your book tackle the following audience:
1. First Time User of Application Server
2. Intermediate user of Oracle 10g and Weblogic 8.1 App Server
3. Any that I have missed out..

Does your book discuss trade offs with other App Servers (like the oebs metioned above).

Tks D

Our book is geared towards someone with J2EE experience but with limited (if any) JBoss experience. We don't attempt to teach J2EE at all.
