Hi I did the deploy on jboss, but I have a question, when I put de .war file on deploy directory, does jboss must to create an application directory?
For example my application portalbanco.war, when I start up jboss I can see my application on browser but any directory is created on the deploy directory, a friend told me the Jboss must to create an applicaction directory, is it true?

You can deploy your application either as an archive or as an exploded folder. JBoss will maintain these applications as folders in %JBOSS_HOME%/server/default/work/jboss.web/localhost folder. But all this is internal to JBoss and the user doesnt have to worry. As long as your application is a valid archive or in the correct Exploded Format, JBoss will deploy it for you.
