With JBoss 4.2 and elipse 3.3

Hi
I am running simple webapplication having one hello.jsp.
Using on JBoss server i am getting error ,what are the settings required.

root cause

Unable to find a javac compiler;
com.sun.tools.javac.Main is not on the classpath.
Perhaps JAVA_HOME does not point to the JDK

Does you JRE in eclipse point to a JRE or a JDK? It should point to a JDK, despite the confusing name.

I am able to run servlet also but not jsp.And in eclipse JRE is pointing to jdk.

Then is ther any setting need to do for jsp inside eclipse.

A servlet doesn't need compiled at runtime, which is possibly why this is the case.

How are you running JBoss?
