Hi,

I havent read the complete book and just started reading the free chapter available "Vote for Jboss".It is intersting read so far.
I have recently shifted to JBOSS4.2.2 from WAS6.1 and find it very very convinent to use and develop.

However , you may want to double check this from your book
"Compare that to Websphere, which has no support for EJB3 yet"

WAS6.1 has EJB3 support now which went on GA sometimes in Nov last year. So WAS also has EJB3 support now.

Hello Authors,

Its nice to have you around for answering our queries.

So here goes my two interrelated queries:

1. Is it possible to debug a web application (deployed war file) in JBoss4.0.2 using Netbeans 6.0. I have tried it without much success.

2. Moreover, If its possible then, I would like to run both the front-end and back-end of my application (both deployed in JBoss 4.0.2) together in Debug mode. So that I can test my application and its calls end to end.

Backend of my application (deployed on JBoss 4.0.2 server) is already running in Netbeans Debug mode already.

Best Regards
Sumit

With CR1 finally released, Javid and I will be busily checking the text against that release (and against what has happened in the industry - thanks for the heads-up Himadri), and updating our demo apps (which should soon after appear on the book's web site for download). Hopefully we will go to print some time in August. Man it has been a looooong 2 years since we started.
