I'm trying to move to Star Office for more and more things. For the last few months, more than half of my presentations have used Star Office instead of power point.
But there is one thing I have not figured out yet:
I try to put the moose on my first page in the presentation. With power point, the animation comes through. With Star Office, the fly is frozen in place. Can I get my animation back? I really like the animation.

Absolutely not!
At least it's a clear answer, right? ;>
Sorry, that's something that doesn't come through, and that's all there is to it. StarImpress has OK animation (I haven't really delved into it, but have played with it). You can do animated gifs, make objects walk along a particular line, etc. But it don't do translation from PowerPoint.
For what it's worth, I think the presentation and drawing tools are the least cantankerous of the whole package.

So if I reloaded the image would I get the animation back?

I tried to reload the image, but it was really difficult to work with. It wouldn't resize it and it made a big black area on my presentation.
I guess I'm stuck with a static image.

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
