okay, I apparently held out too long on the jrun 2.3 tip. I'm now trying to install my application against jrun 3.1, and I'm having trouble leveraging my previous jrun experience. In JRun 2.3, it was simple enough to configure the jcp (the connector against whatever server) modify one's classpath, map a servlet and then restart the server.
I assume that JRun 3.1 works the same way, but I'm having trouble getting my application to start... and the log files in JRun 3.1 blow. Error 500 means jack to me if the log files show no exception, arghghghg. Also, JRun 3.1 has much ado about .war, but I'm fairly certain that it wouldn't enforce that framework on me, correct? I should just be able to establish a servlet alias, map the alias to a /virtual path, restart and go, correct?
Thanks in advance.

nevermind, it turns out there is a bug in configuring jrun 3.x w/ iis5.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
