Help regarding QuickPlace

Hello all
I know that this is the wrong place to post such a question but cant help .. just hoping that someone might have the answer.

I have installed quickplace which is am accessing through WebSphere Portal Server.Everything is working fine but the thing is that in the quickplaces i dont want the links of CHAT,Notify, News aily,weekly .. below the search.. the other folders like "Disscussion" etc are getting deleted. I am using Lotus Quickplace 2.0.8
does anyone have an idea how to remove them?
