does anybody out here know if the Sun ONE directory server has JDBC hooks to talk to a DB "on the fly". I would like to set up a LDAP complient directory for our WebSphere App Server, but I don't want to copy the data from our DB into the directory. I'd rather have the directory look up the data in the DB in real time. I know with OpenLDAP there was a C backend API and even a Perl wrapper for that C API. I'm wondering if the Sun Directory has a JDBC back end hook to a DB...specifically....oracle

thanks,

Jason

Hi,

Welcome to JavaRanch!

A bit of business: you may not have read our naming policy on the way in. It requires that you use a full, real (sounding) first and last name for your display name. You can change your display name here. Thanks for your immediate attention. See you around the Ranch!
