I have install the Orion server to run Servlets or JSP and tried to configure it as per the instruction provided with their guideline and the Marilyn's instructions but it does not work and shows that connection to the server is not established.
Any help please.

Rashid,
Check if you have TCP/IP installed.

Did you copy tools.jar from the JDK into the orion subdir (example: C:\orion)?

Could be Rashid, I played around with it today and if I follow the instructions I get it to work on both my notebook & the family PC.

I see no reason why you can't use Tomcat for the current assignments. It won't handle some of the assignments that are not yet public.

You will be much happier if you can get Orion working. I'm amazed that you had trouble. I think you are the first person I know of that was not able to get it working.
You are welcome to use whatever server you are comfortable with, but as Marilyn said, JRun won't work for the up-coming EJB assignments.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
