I have tried various resources to get an answer for the problem with sessions on iAS 6.0 sp1. We ideally want to close(kill) the sessions after the user decides to logout or if the sessin expires. We are using native applogics and we are unable to kill the sessions. Even after they are killed, the session id lingers on and am able to access the session. We even tried to make the session visible and tried to kill the J2EE way by invalidating via servlets. Even that did not seem to have any effect ? Can you please let me know a workaround for this known bug(I remember that once a tech rep accepted this as a known bug on the sun forum).

I do recall a known bug with sessions refusing to be invalidated, and I remember it being fixed. I can't remember the exact service back that it was fixed in.
AFAIK, there aren't any workarounds. Upgrading the service pack should fix the problem though.
