Hi,
I am using iPlanet 6.5. I am getting following error when a looking up for a datasource.
java.lang.ClassCastException: com.netscape.server.jdbc.DataSourceImpl at com.netscape.ejb.CorbaHomeFactoryImpl.ConstructEJBHome(Unknown Source)at com.netscape.CosNaming.NamingContextImpl.resolve(Unknown Source)at
org.omg.CosNaming._NamingContextImplBase.invoke(_NamingContextImplBase.java:229)at
com.sun.corba.ee.internal.corba.ServerDelegate.dispatch(ServerDelegate.java:370) at com.sun.corba.ee.internal.iiop.ORB.process(ORB.java:273)at
com.sun.corba.ee.internal.iiop.RequestProcessor.process(RequestProces
sor.java:84)at
com.sun.corba.ee.internal.orbutil.ThreadPool$PooledThread.run(ThreadPool.java:99)
....
Any ideas as to what might cause this ? Thanks in advance.

Hi Milind
Are you trying to lookup a datasource from a client program that resides outside the application server I mean a remote client? If yes , then I think thats the problem. Try embedding the lookup in a a client program that resides inside the Applicaiton Server context say for eg a servlet. I think that should work.
