Hello,
i am new to directory server and LDAP.
I am trying to install Sun One Directory Server v5.2 into my new ibm laptop.
First, i met no problem or warning when during the installation. But I never successfully started the console. After I enter my username, password, and Administration URL from the login window, it seems entering into a dead lock, no response, no message, and even i can not close it!
But from the system log I saw the LDAP server started already, it's just the problem with console...
Can anyone tell me if there any wrong with my operation? or the server can not run on xp at all?
Thanks....

With a little knowledge, a cast iron skillet is non-stick and lasts a lifetime.
