CORBA Naming problem

We are using Iplanet 6.5. Successfully deployed a sample EJB application(helloworld from IPlanet samples) with IIOP enabled. We had written a servlet that access that EJB(from the same machine) and the connection is working fine. But when we try to call the EJB from a different machine with the url iiop:\\<Machine name>>:9010 we are getting a NameNotFoundException and the CXS log is getting full with an error null GUID in GDS. Can somebody throw some light on this. Is there something I am missing when trying to connect from the remote machine
