I have created 2 instanaces and deployed the same application to both of them.
After logging in the system in instance A. I would like to click a link which will pass some parameters and generate a jsp page in instance B
(ie. <a href="http://instanceB/a.jsp?a=1&b=2> It's just a string only)
After that I wanted to continue with my work in instance A. However the session was null and redirect me to the login page again.
How can I keep the session in instance A after calling a jsp page in instance B?
As if I use <a href="http://instanceA/a.jsp?a=1&b=2>, the session can be kept.
Any ideas? Thx a lot

Hello "poorjava poorjava", welcome to JavaRanch.
In response to your urgent question I must make an urgent request. Please change your display name so that it complies with JavaRanch's naming policy. We'd like you to use 2 names, preferably your real name or something that sounds like a real name. It's all about maintaining our professional image - don't let the one-eyed moose fool you!
Thx and hope you'll be visiting the ranch often,
Pauline
